Over 15 years of experience, FA qualified.
MD PE and Coaching was founded by a fully qualified, and practicing primary school teacher and football coach with over a decade of experience working with children. Here at MD PE and Coaching, we have seen first hand the positive impact that high quality PE and sport has had on self esteem, mood, and the general health and wellbeing of children.

Michael and his team are very knowledgable and brilliant with all the children. From observation, it is clear they all have an amazing time every session. My son William attended for some time. By joining MD PE and Coaching he gained a love for sport, particularly football and was able to socialise with other children outside of school. He developed a confidence in his ability which allowed him to move onto a grassroots team when he was too old to attend Michaels classes. I would highly recommend these sessions to everyone

My son started attending the Barnard Castle sessions in November and I am so pleased I signed him up to them. MD PE and Coaching- Mini Ballers came highly recommended by parents at my son’s school so I didn’t have any reservations about booking a block of sessions. I let Michael know before our first session that my (then) 5 year old son had just been diagnosed with ASD so may face some challenges. The whole team were really reassuring and welcoming, they made adjustments to ensure that he could feel involved and overcome some of his anxieties. I can’t believe the difference it has made in 6 months, his confidence not only in football skills has increased but around other children. We’ve just been on holiday and he was first in line to join in on the evening football activities with children he didn’t know, older and younger and was keen to show off some of the techniques he learned in class. I am so impressed with the high standard of teaching, understanding and support of the teaching and coaching staff and the kindness and friendliness of the other mini-baller children who are all amazing
